SPOTIFY appears to have suffered another outage mere days after recovering from a separate issue.
Reports of issues started to rocket on Down Detector at around 10.15am GMT on August 7.
Why is Spotify down?
It’s not clear why Spotify is having issues at the moment.
And the streaming music giant is yet to say anything officially about it.
So we’re not sure how widespread it is for now.
But complaints picked up by Down Detector have been steadily climbing since around 10.15am UK time.
At the moment, it’s just below 500 reports.
Music fans have taken to Twitter to find out what’s going on.
“@Spotify down?,” one user tweeted.
“Songs play no longer than 10 seconds before they cut off and the buffer freezes.

What are some Spotify fixes users can try?
It’s not clear how to fix the current issue at the moment.
But if you continue having problems when it’s resolved, you might want to try:
- Restarting the app
- Logging out and logging back in
- Checking offline mode status
- Reinstalling the app
