THOUSANDS of Spotify users have reported that the app is not working.
Reports of Spotify being down started coming into Downdetector at around 7.50am EST on Wednesday.
A staggering 63 percent of reports complained of issues surrounding the app.
Another 21 percent of reports flagged problems with Spotify’s website.
The remaining 15 percent of reports noted concerns with the platform’s audio streaming.
Users in Downdetector’s comments said they were having trouble accessing their music.
Meanwhile, others complained of not being able to see anything on their dashboard.
“Only downloaded songs are working :(” one user wrote.
“I thought I got banned when I didn’t see anything on the page,” a second person remarked.
“My playlist (of calming music to get my day started on a positive note) just stopped,” a third person noted.
“When I reloaded Spotify (desktop), it was then blank. Tried again, then got the message: ‘Can’t find that playlist.’ Now, it found it again, but the list is completely blank,” they added.
“This also happened a couple of times yesterday. Relieved to see I’m not the only one experiencing problems with Spotify. Was beginning to think maybe my playlist is too long (over 24 hours),” they continued.
Wednesday’s outage is one of a few that the platform has faced recently.
Just last month, the music streaming service experienced a massive outage as thousands of frustrated users reported issues worldwide.
